About the Author
Adrian Wolff, MS, CSCS
Adrian Wolff is a former U.S. Naval officer, fitness expert, hockey player, and writer. He was born and raised in Chicago and began playing hockey at age five. He played competitively with various teams in the Chicagoland area until he graduated high school. Thereafter, he received a four-year Navy ROTC scholarship to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) where he earned his bachelor's degree in psychology. After serving five years of active duty in the Navy, he transitioned his career to fitness and earned his master’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Since then, he has spent nearly a decade coaching a variety of clients from everyday fitness enthusiasts to youth, collegiate, and professional athletes. His well-rounded background working with a variety of athletes in different sports, and playing hockey competitively, gave him a unique perspective for creating highly effective and individualized fitness programs. He currently resides in Las Vegas and works in the private sector as a strength and conditioning coach while studying for his PhD at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. He is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and holds other reputable certifications including USA Weightlifting Level 1, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Precision Nutrition Level 1. His goal as an author is to share highly valuable and practical information with people to make a significant impact on their athletic performance, fitness, and health.
